Grounds Bookings
Contact the Bookings Officer if you wish to organise a clinic, event or ride on the grounds on a non-event day.
Scheduled events and clinics are on our Calendar. Some events can run in conjunction with others – please talk to the Bookings Officer if the date for the event or clinic you want to run clashes and is difficult to change.
Please provide at least 48 hours notice to ride on the grounds on non-event days to give our Bookings Officer time to address your query. Requests for events and clinics generally require even more notice.
Only current and fully paid members may ride on the grounds at all times. Approved safety equipment must be used at all times.

Our grounds are well shaded.
Ground water in use – only club house water is suitable for human consumption.
The grounds are available:

Monday

Tuesday from 1.30pm

Wednesday and Thursday from 2.30pm

Friday and Saturday provided no events are scheduled that weekend.

Sunday, provided no events are scheduled.
The grounds are only available after above times on the selected days as the RDA South West use the grounds during the week.
During the school holidays these days become available as RDASW is not held.
Rules
Riding is permitted throughout grounds but NOT on the Jenny Dunlop Arena (Large dressage arena – this is locked) and NOT IN the FENCED SHOW JUMPING competition arenas (x2) LIMITED show jumping equipment is available for use and may be used in the SAND ARENA (warmup arena) in front of the club rooms only.
Riding areas must be dragged after completion. This ensures that the grass and sand areas stay in good condition.
Conditions for use of the show jumping are that equipment is returned to storage areas after use, and another person capable of responding to an emergency is present at all times. Any breakages need to be reported.
**Construction work has commenced on the water complex in the bush land behind opened grass area. During this time the area is TOTALLY out of bounds and MUST NOT BE USED including riding on the base. The jumps must not be used as they are under construction and have been taped off**
Visiting Coaches & Instructors to Club Activities (As per our Aon Equine Liability Policy)
The club must be provided with proof the visiting coach/instructor holds WWC, Public Liability & Professional Indemnity insurance to cover their teaching activities. The lesson being provided must suit the riders needs.
As we hold Equine Liability policy through Aon, the club automatically covers for the incidental tuition provide by an existing member of the club which is provided on VOLUNTARY, occasional basis AT NO CHARGE.
Manure and ALL rubbish needs to be removed from ground and placed IN THE BINS provided – This includes manure in yards and whilst by floats.
PUTTIG AROUND TREES is not acceptable – it kills them….. Any failure to clean up after yourself will result in a fine.
Payment is $5.00/horse per day and should be made only after your booking is confirmed.
Payment is to be made prior by direct deposit to the account provided by the Bookings Officer at the time of confirmed booking.
