Pony Club Uniform

Each Pony Club has a registered uniform. This uniform is to be worn on rally days, when taking efficiency certificates and at official PCAWA events. The official uniform can be purchased at rallies and is:

•Long sleeved white collared cotton button up shirt

•BHPC long sleeved royal blue with white stripe trim V neck jumper *

•Royal blue with white stripe tie *

•PCAWA badge (worn on the V of the jumper with any certificate disc) *

•Beige/bone/cream/fawn jodhpurs

•Hairnet

•PCAWA approved Helmet

•Black or brown short riding boots ( long boots are permissible providing they fit correctly)

•Leather or leather look gaiters are permissible providing they are the same colour as the boot

•Royal blue or white saddle cloth *

To help keep your official uniform in good shape there are some approved exceptions for rally days only:

•The BHPC long sleeved collared rugby shirt * in lieu of shirt and jumper

•Navy jodhpurs in lieu of beige jodhpurs

•Suede chapettes instead of leather gaiters. They are not recommended as they give a different feel and this may cause problems for the rider when in official uniform.

Items marked * are available at the uniform shop. Other items can be purchased from riding shops.

Note: long sleeves are a PCAWA requirement as we are sponsored by Healthways. You must have long sleeves even if you are not in uniform, and you must keep your lower arms covered.
